We gather on Sundays and throughout the week to pray, to worship God through word and sacrament, and to play our part in building loving community in and around the Elgin, Lossiemouth and Burghead areas.

MEET OUR RECTOR
The Revd. Canon Tembu Rongong is Rector of Holy Trinity, Elgin, and St Margaret’s, Lossiemouth in the Scottish Episcopal Church. He previously served as a curate at Holy Trinity, Dunfermline and St Margaret’s, Rosyth, and later at St Philip's and St James' in Edinburgh, before moving to Moray to lead the congregations in Elgin and Lossiemouth.Alongside his pastoral ministry, he is known for his warmth, thoughtful preaching and commitment to building an open and welcoming church. A lifelong musician, Tembu first sang as a chorister, as a child. Today, he draws on that early foundation to nurture and direct a growing choir at Holy Trinity, placing music at the heart of worship and community life. Alongside this he is also an instructor at Elgin Broadsword Society.In 2025 he was installed as a Canon of St Andrew’s Cathedral, Inverness, in recognition of his service to the diocese. Holy Trinity is located in the centre of Elgin, Moray, and is part of the Scottish Episcopal Church. We welcome people from Elgin, Lossiemouth and the surrounding area, as well as visitors from further afield.

No. You are welcome whether you are Anglican, from another denomination, exploring faith or simply visiting.

Our main Sunday service is the Eucharist. Full service times for Holy Trinity Elgin and St Margaret’s Lossiemouth are listed on this website. As a general rule, though, we have a weekly Sunday service at St Margaret's at 09:30am and at Holy Trinity at 11:15am.
